For keyboards with illumination, KIPL uses Talamanic, Taiwan make illuminated keys in RED, GREEN & YELLOW colours. Keyboards can be also illuminated, using Electro-luminescent lamps (EL). EL lamps are ideal for uniform & reflection free backlighting of displays. Thin & border less lamps are commonly used for small instruments. The applications are versatile, chiefly in search & survey instruments, pagers, medical electronic equipments, mobile phones & others.
