Ex d Flameproof Enclosure

Cast 316L stainless steel Ex d flameproof housing that contains any internal ignition and quenches flame paths before they can reach the surrounding explosive atmosphere.

Ex p Purged & Pressurised

Ex p Type X/Y/Z purged enclosures continuously flushed with instrument air or inert gas to prevent hazardous-area atmosphere entering the monitor housing.

316L Stainless / GRP Housing

Marine-grade 316L stainless steel or fibreglass reinforced plastic (GRP) enclosure resisting H₂S, saltwater corrosion, and chemical splash in offshore and petrochemical sites.

IP66 / IP67 Hermetic Seal

Fully hermetically sealed to IP66 and IP67, preventing ingress of high-pressure water jets, washdown fluids, and fine hydrocarbon dust in process plant environments.

Sunlight-Readable IPS Panel

Up to 1000 nit high-brightness IPS display with anti-reflective coating for clear outdoor and open-top plant visibility without exposing internal electronics to the hazardous zone.

Hazardous Area Engineering

Engineered to eliminate ignition risk in classified explosive atmospheres

Standard industrial monitors are strictly prohibited in ATEX Zone 1 and Zone 2 hazardous locations because internal sparking, hot surfaces, or component failure could ignite surrounding flammable gas or dust clouds. Our ATEX certified displays are engineered around two core protection concepts: Ex d flameproof enclosures that contain any internal ignition, and Ex p pressurised purge systems that displace hazardous atmosphere from inside the housing. The 316L stainless steel body resists H₂S corrosion, offshore saltwater environments, and aggressive chemical cleaning. Combined with IP66/IP67 hermetic sealing, certified Ex e terminal entries, and intrinsically safe cable glands, the complete installation meets ATEX Directive requirements without exception — giving operators the confidence to interact with process HMIs safely inside the most hazardous plant areas.
