The KT 43 Tactile Metal Dome Keyboard is engineered for applications where dependable tactile feedback and long-term durability are essential. Constructed with a glass epoxy PCB and precision-mounted metal domes, the keyboard ensures consistent electrical contact with every actuation.
Metal domes are available in diameters ranging from 6 mm to 20 mm, allowing flexibility in key design and performance. For enhanced conductivity and extended operational life, gold-plated domes and PCB options are available. With a life expectancy of over 1 million operations and stable performance under temperature, humidity, and vibration stress, KT 43 is well suited for industrial equipment, medical devices, instrumentation panels, and custom electronic systems.
The keyboard supports IP54 and IP67 front-side protection and offers multiple customization options including EMI/RFI shielding, UV hard-coated display windows, SMD components, embossing in various shapes, phosphorescent lighting, and relegendable legend pockets.
