Product Information
The KT 67 Metal Dome Tactile Membrane Keyboard is engineered for applications that demand reliable tactile response and stable electrical performance. Built on a durable glass epoxy PCB with mounted metal domes, this keyboard delivers clear actuation feedback and consistent contact accuracy.
When pressed, the metal dome collapses to establish contact with the PCB electrode, providing a distinct tactile confirmation to the user. Dome diameters range from 6 mm to 20 mm, allowing customization of actuation feel and response characteristics. Gold-plated domes and PCBs are available to enhance conductivity, reduce oxidation, and improve long-term reliability.
The keyboard supports operation up to 24 V DC with a maximum operating current of 80 mA (for non-USB/PS2 configurations). With a tactile life expectancy of one million operations and activation force between 280 and 350 grams, it ensures dependable performance in high-use environments.
Designed to withstand demanding industrial conditions, the KT 67 operates within a temperature range of -18°C to +70°C and tolerates high humidity and vibration exposure. Front-side protection is available up to IP67, making it suitable for dust-prone and moisture-exposed applications.
Optional enhancements include EMI/RFI shielding, UV hard-coated display windows, phosphorescent lighting, SMD components integration, relegendable pockets, and custom embossing shapes. Its compact construction and 14-pin Relimate connector make it ideal for integration into industrial equipment, instrumentation systems, and specialized electronic control panels.
