The MIL KEY L246W96K83 Rugged Keyboard (KIPL 25-6411) is a compact and durable Human-Machine Interface (HMI) solution engineered for military, aerospace, homeland security, and industrial applications. Designed, developed, and manufactured by Keetronics (India) Pvt. Ltd., this keyboard is built to deliver dependable performance in challenging environmental conditions.

Constructed with a conductive plastic housing featuring multiple grounding points, the keyboard provides enhanced EMI shielding and is designed to meet MIL-STD-461E requirements. The fully sealed construction exceeds NEMA 4X requirements when properly installed and achieves IP68 protection, ensuring resistance against dust, water, and harsh environmental exposure.

The keyboard features 83 tactile keys, adjustable green backlighting controlled through dedicated brightness keys, and an integrated FSR (Force Sensing Resistor) pointing device for precise cursor control. An optional NVIS-compatible backlighting configuration is available for night-vision operations and defense applications.

Engineered for demanding field conditions, the keyboard withstands high levels of vibration, shock, humidity, and temperature variations while providing a key life exceeding 10 million actuations.
