The Programmable PC Keyboard with Trackball is a rugged, computer-compatible input solution designed for industrial, medical and limited data entry applications. Built with a high-reliability keyboard encoder, it supports up to 144 programmable keys arranged in a customizable key matrix, making it easy to integrate with any make of PC.

This keyboard can directly replace a standard travel-type keyboard while offering enhanced durability and environmental protection. The sealed surface design provides resistance against liquids, dust and industrial contaminants, ensuring reliable performance in harsh working environments.

Users can assign any standard PC keyboard code to individual keys and customize legends for application-specific interfaces. The keyboard is available in four standard key configurations, with options including an integrated trackball (touch mouse feature) for precise cursor control.

Designed for long service life, the keyboard features metal dome switches delivering excellent tactile feedback with an operational life of up to 1 million actuations per key. It supports multiple interface options such as PS/2, 3-Pin DIN and RS232, and includes LED indicators for Power On, Num Lock, Scroll Lock and Caps Lock.

Optional features include EMI/RFI shielding, IP55/IP65 front panel protection, UV hard-coated display windows, relegendable key pockets, phosphorescent lighting and custom embossing shapes (round, triangular or square). The unit can also be supplied with audio key feedback for enhanced usability.
