The KT 44 Tactile Metal Dome Keyboard is designed for applications where space is limited but performance cannot be compromised. Built on a durable glass epoxy PCB with precision-mounted metal domes, the keyboard delivers consistent tactile feedback and reliable electrical contact with every key press.
Metal domes are available in diameters ranging from 6 mm to 20 mm, allowing flexibility in design and actuation feel. For enhanced conductivity and extended service life, gold-plated domes and PCB options are available. With a lifecycle of over 1 million operations and stable performance across temperature, humidity, and vibration conditions, the KT 44 is well suited for industrial control systems, medical equipment, instrumentation panels, and other rugged applications.
The keyboard supports IP54 and IP67 front-side protection and offers multiple customization options including EMI/RFI shielding, UV hard-coated windows, SMD components, embossing in various shapes, phosphorescent lighting, and relegendable pockets for custom legends. Its compact footprint makes it ideal for space-constrained electronic designs.
