The KT 45 Tactile Metal Dome Keyboard is engineered for applications where clear tactile feedback and dependable switching performance are essential. Built using a glass epoxy PCB with mounted metal domes, each key press ensures accurate electrical contact with consistent actuation force.
Metal domes are available in various diameters ranging from 6 mm to 20 mm, allowing flexibility in design and performance. For enhanced conductivity and long-term reliability, gold-plated domes and PCB options are available. With a lifecycle of over 1 million operations and resistance to vibration, humidity, and temperature variations, the KT 45 performs reliably in demanding environments.
The keyboard offers IP54 or IP67 front-side protection and supports multiple customization options including EMI/RFI shielding, UV hard-coated windows, SMD components, embossing, phosphorescent lighting, and relegendable pockets. Its compact PCB size makes it suitable for space-constrained industrial, medical, instrumentation, and OEM applications.
