The KT 55 Tactile Metal Dome Keyboard is engineered for applications where precise tactile feedback and long operational life are essential. Built using a high-quality glass epoxy PCB with metal domes mounted directly on the circuit, the keyboard ensures reliable electrical contact every time a key is pressed.
Available with dome diameters ranging from 6 mm to 20 mm, the design supports consistent actuation force and excellent response accuracy. For enhanced conductivity and long-term reliability, gold-plated domes and PCB options are available.
With a life expectancy of over 1 million operations, IP-rated front panel protection, and resistance to vibration and humidity, the KT 55 is ideal for industrial control systems, medical equipment, instrumentation panels, and other demanding environments. Customization options such as EMI/RFI shielding, UV-resistant windows, SMD components, embossing, and relegendable pockets make it adaptable to diverse OEM requirements.
