PCB And PCF Based Keyboards

Printed Circuit Film (PCF).

PCF based keyboards , consists of two or more layers of polyester film, screen printed with the electrically conductive circuit. These two layers are isolated with a spacer which has air vents for Perfect operation of the switch.

These keyboards are available in tactile or non-tactile types with or without embossing. These keyboards can be assembled with a built in LEDS either on the same layer or by adding a additional third layers. A adhesive is provided at the back to mount this keyboard on a hard backing , like Aluminium plate.

These keyboards can be illuminated by Electroluminescent lamps or LEDS.

Printed Circuit Boards (PCB)

PCB based keyboards consists of a glass epoxy PCB, with a hard backed PCB and a thin polyester layer printed with conductive silver .

These two layers are isolated with a spacer which has air vents for Perfect operation of the switch. These keyboards are available in tactile or non-tactile types with or without embossing. These keyboards can be assembled with a built in LEDS and can have backlit with Electroluminescent lamps, or LEDS.
